  4. Don’t drink alcohol beforehand.

  5. Take a shower.

  8. In most cases, don’t use numbing cream, it may effect the healing & quality of your tattoo.

  9. Tattoo work done on the hands, feet, knees & elbows will have a much higher chance of fading - It’s at the discretion of your tattooer if free touch ups are offered for these placement requests.

AFTER-CARE: TO DO FOLLOWING YOUR TATTOO SESSION

  1. Always wash your hands before touching your tattooed area.

  2. If you see blood/fluids underneath the 2nd skin, this is normal.

  3. Remove 2nd skin after 3-5 days.

  4. If the 2nd skin starts to come off before then, don’t worry, just fully remove it. Use clean hands and anti-bacterial soap to wash the tattooed area 3 times a day, over the next 2-3 days.

  5. After removing 2nd skin, use your (clean!) hands to gently wash the tattooed area with anti-bacterial soap. Do not rub hard, use a washcloth or anything abrasive that will scrub or exfoliate your skin. Gently pat dry your tattoo with a paper towel afterwards.

  6. Apply a thin amount of ointment on your tattoo after each washing.

  7. You may use Aquafor, A&D (without alcohol) or H2Ocean Aquatat ointment, dependent on your allergic reaction.

  8. Always use clean hands and avoid making contact with the ointment tube opening.

  9. You can take quick showers, and avoid soaking your tattoo in water for at least 2 weeks.

  10. Avoid swimming and hot tubs.

  11. Do not pick, scratch, peel or rub your tattoo during the healing process.

  12. For itch relief, you can pat your tattoo with a clean hand.

  13. Avoid exposing your tattoo to sunlight for around a month, and use sun block afterwards.

  14. Do not wear abrasive clothing, jewelry or shoes that will rub the tattooed area.
