How do I make an appointment?

  • Our tattoo artists are responsible for their own scheduling and appointments. We highly recommend to first complete our APPOINTMENT REQUEST FORM. This will give us the necessary details to provide an estimate, and to set up your booking. 

  • Please be patient. Our tattooers can be really busy at times, and may take up to 2-3 days to respond to your inquiries.

How long will I have to wait to get a tattoo?

  • Booking wait times can range from the day of (walk-in), to 3 months or more, depending on which artist. Please call or email us for inquiries.

Do you take walk-ins?

  • We can usually accept same day walk-ins, depending on the scale and details of the design. Please call ahead for availability.

What’s your studio hours and address info?

  • We’re open from 12pm to 7pm (Closed Mondays and Thursdays).

  • Address: 1700 S. Santa Fe Ave, Ste 411, Los Angeles, CA 90021.

  • Take the elevator (near entrance, across from the mailboxes) to the 4th floor, we’re down the hall to the right.

Do you have parking?

  • We have a FREE, gated parking lot on the north side of our building at: 1700 S. Santa Fe Ave. Please be careful with moving traffic when pulling into the lot, and do not park in any spaces with a reservation sign.

  • If this lot becomes full, additional parking’’s available on the south side of the building, across from the loading dock at: 1800 S. Santa Fe Ave.

  • For Sunday Clients: Park in our north lot at: 1700 S. Santa Fe Ave. The gate will be closed, but please pull into the driveway as fully as possible, then call our studio number for entry: PH (213) 442-2823.

Should I get a consultation?

  • Generally, a consultation is recommended if you’re interested in a larger scale piece (Half to full sleeves, leg, chest, back etc), or if you have a trickier cover-up request over a scarred area or an older tattoo.

Will I need to leave a deposit?

  • We require a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit that can range from $100 to $500 (varies by artist and piece), to secure a booking. This is applied to the cost of your tattoo (on the final appointment if multiple sittings) and holds your date and time. The balance (if any), will be due after your session. Please note that this date and time may be offered to other clients as well but we can only lock in a booking after we receive a deposit. Late cancellations or no shows will automatically forfeit your deposit with no exceptions. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. This deposit is a guarantee that you will appear at the agreed date and time. Only minor changes can be made to the final design at your session. Your deposit will be considered a drawing fee if you decide to completely change the design or decide not to go forward with the scheduled work. If you can’t make your appointment, you must notify your tattoo artist at least 5 days in advance, and to reschedule within 2 months time.

Can I see the design before my appointment?

  • After we receive your deposit for your booking, and If requested, the design can be sent to you a day or two before your appointment date. It’s important to research properly and choose an artist who’s style appeals to you most, and who you can trust to do great work based on your idea.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • WE HAVE A NO CANCELLATION POLICY. Cancellations within 5 days of your appointment or no shows will automatically forfeit your deposit with no exceptions. Your deposit will be considered a drawing fee if you decide to change the design and size significantly or decide not to go forward with your tattoo work. If you can’t make your appointment, you must notify your tattoo artist at least 5 days in advance, and to reschedule your appointment within 2 months. One reschedule is allowed.

What should I know before my appointment?

I found a tattoo that I want, can you copy it exactly?

  • We don’t replicate other artists’ work without legal permission, but we can use the image as a reference to customize a one of a kind design for you.

What types payment options do you accept?

  • We accept Zelle, Venmo or Cash. Venmo will require an additional 3% fee.

Can I get a tattoo if I’m under 18 years old?

  • By law, we don’t work on anyone under 18 years of age, even with parental consent.

Is your shop clean and sterile?

  • Cleanliness is very important to us. We’re fully registered and certified with the Health Department in Los Angeles County. All of our tattoo supplies are single use and 100% disposable. We practice universal precautions, and all our tattooers are current with Blood Borne Pathogen training requirements.

How much will my tattoo cost? Shop minimum?

  • Our tattooer’s minimums range from $120 to $500, and their rates varies by artist.

Should I tip my artist?

  • This is a really nice gesture. If you had a great experience, is happy with the work and can afford it, a tip will be greatly appreciated!

Can I get a free touch up if needed?

  • Free touch-ups are at the discretion of your tattooer. If necessary, contact your tattooer within 2 months of your tattoo session date, with a clear, well lit photo of your tattoo’s current condition. Please note, single needle, fine line style work, and tattoos done on the hands or feet has a much higher chance of fading. We don’t offer free touch ups for work done on these placement areas.

Can I get tattooed while pregnant or breast-feeding?

  • Sorry, we can’t tattoo clients who are pregnant or breast-feeding.

Can you fix/cover-up an old tattoo I have?

  • In most cases, whether we can accept a cover-up depends on your current tattoo. Usually a good photo of the placement area will give us a good idea if it’s possible. The tattoo artist may request a consultation so they can see what needs to be covered up or re-worked, and can advise you on your options.  Please note, some tattoos are not easily covered up and we may suggest laser removal beforehand. Your artist will let you know what’s workable.

Does it hurt?

  • Some placement areas hurt quite a bit more (Ribs/Side of torso, bottom of feet etc.) than others, and some people have higher pain tolerance. The pain can even vary within the same tattoo work and over different sessions. The best way to manage the pain is to get enough sleep, relax, take deep breaths and don’t fight it. The more relaxed you are, the more manageable the pain.

How do I take care of my tattoo? (After-Care)

How long does it take for my tattoo to heal?

  • Your tattoo will start looking healed in 7-10 days. It can take up to a month to heal, and should not be exposed to the sun or soaked in water until after this time period.

Do you do piercings?

  • Not at this time, we only do tattoo work.

Do I need to show ID?

  • Yes, state law requires that you provide a valid, state issued ID or passport proving that you are 18 years of age or older. A release form must be completed and signed before each tattoo session. 

Do I need to wear a mask and be vaccinated?

  • We know this is a controversial subject, but our staff’s fully vaccinated. We ask that you are too. If not, masks are recommended but not required.

Can I bring my friend?

  • Due to limited seating, you can only bring one guest if necessary.

Can my friend hangout with me during my session?

  • Only the active client is allowed in the tattooing work area.

Are children allowed?

  • No one under 18 years of age are permitted to enter our studio, with or without a legal guardian.

Are pets allowed?

  • We love animals, but pets are not permitted to enter. This will violate LA county’s health code requirements.
